Recycling Center will be open M-W-F from 8:00-3:30 p.m. and Sat 8:00-12:00 p.m. Closed to the Public Tuesday and Thursday.
Each time you take your recyclables you will be asked to register at the site before dropping off your recyclables.
THE FOLLOWING MUST BE RECYCLED
Currently: No co-mingling, please separate either in clear bags or re-useable containers.
- Glass-anything made 100% glass, cleaned, label removed
- Corrugated cardboard
- Aluminum-cans only, siding in metal pile
- Paper- all non corrugated paper
- Plastic- Milk, soda, soap bottles only [no tarps, tools, trays or toys]
- Tin- cans must be rinsed clean
These items at various drop off areas near the office (ask for assistance if needed):
- Batteries, crankcase oil, anti-freeze, microwaves, metal or aluminum roofing, scrap metal, compost-grass clipings, leaves, household-no bags
These items dropped off near office for extra fees:
- $20 fee: refrigerators, air conditions, dehumidifiers
- $15 fee: computer monitors, televisions, starter ballasts and capacitors
- $0.10/lb: tires
- $1.00/each: florescent bulbs
Land fill rates: $53/ton or $5.00 minimum
Acceptable items for disposal:
- Common household trash, various other household items, demolished buildings (metal removed), furniture, livestock and deer carcasses, asphalt, roofing material
