Public Hearing for Variance Request

6:20 p.m.

Jacqueline Sorenson and Trevor Sidie, Tunnel Hill Road, Elroy, WI 53929 are requesting a variance to place a shed less than 50 feet from the property lines.

Public comments can be made at the hearing or submitted via email. At the conclusion of this hearing, the Town Board shall, based upon the evidence presented, determine whether the variance requested, or any other variance, should be granted. If granted, the Board shall specify the conditions upon which such variance is granted.

The Board must determine that the variance will not be contrary to the public interest, where, owing to special conditions, a literal enforcement of the ordinance will result in practical difficulty or unnecessary hardship, so the spirit of the ordinance shall be observed, public safety and welfare secured and substantial justice done.

Notice is hereby given that a special town meeting of the Town of Fountain, Juneau County, Wisconsin, will be held in the town at W9921 Jacobsen Rd on the 11th day of November, 2025 immediately following the public hearing scheduled at 6:30 p.m. for the following purposes:
To approve the 2025 total town tax levy to be collected in 2026 pursuant to s. 60.10(1)(a) of Wis. Statutes.
To approve the total 2026 highway expenditures pursuant to s. 81.01(3), Wis. Stat.
